Well, Blogosphere, here it is, my PW article on the Internet Poetry scene. It's the cover story of this week's issue, and you can read it online at http://www.publishersweekly.com/currentIssue.html
Also not that there's a profile of Kay Ryan, which I also wrote. She's wonderful.
Do with me as you will.

Well done! Excellent surreptitious at-work reading.
thanks!
Great job Craig. Thorough and insightful. Thanks for the mention.
hmm, well, i disagree with robin's (sorry i don't know your last name so am forced to be familiar) "thorough." maybe you have seen some of us wondering elsewhere, or maybe you haven't, but since you're right here where i can ask you, i'll ask you: how come there are no women mentioned in or interviewed for your otherwise informative article on poetry in the blogosphere?
to correct my mistatement: pls insert "poet-bloggers" after "no women" in that question above. i realize the publicity director at knopf is a woman, and that she was interviewed.
also, i now suddenly notice that PW (or you?) opted not to call the comic strip by its name: "stone cold poetry bitches." i guess that was wise, considering. i wonder if an unitiated reader, such as the one at whom your article was aimed, might get the idea tho that women poets either don't exist or are careerist bitches?
it's actually a more common idea than you might imagine. i suppose we shouldn't get our panties in a twist about such things. i'm just asking you, because i stop by here often enough to know you probably don't agree with any of these generalizations.
thanks & cheers.
Don't worry about readers, Shanna. I'm sure whether they're inititated or not, they're able to discern the difference between Betty and Veronica and *real* poets.

PS: The five hits my old blog has gotten from the PW article assures me that few PW readers have been harmed by "Stone Cold Poetry Bitches".
